Manchester City attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva is not interested in a move to Arsenal, according to journalist Pedro Almeida.
The Portuguese reporter says that the 26-year-old has decided to turn down the Gunners due to the fact that he wants to be playing in the Champions League:
Bernardo #Silva will leave Manchester City and this is confirmed. #Arsenal opened talks with the Manchester club for the player but the Portuguese player is not open to this change, the player prefers a team that plays at #UCL. ?? #MCFC https://t.co/WLd9hWzUug

It’s clear that Silva is very keen on leaving the Etihad Stadium this summer, but there are very few clubs out there who can afford to buy him.
Atletico Madrid are said to be very keen on the Portuguese international but the La Liga champions can only make an offer if they can offload Saul Niguez first.
With that being the case, it seems likely that Silva will be remaining with City, at least until January. You cannot rule out the possibility that a team will make a late bid for the player before the transfer window closes but there is no sign of that happening at the moment.
