Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland “can imagine” playing for a club like Manchester City, Chelsea or Real Madrid, according to Sport1.
The German sports channel claims that the Norwegian international is frustrated that Dortmund have sold Jadon Sancho to Manchester United, although his unhappiness is unlikely to lead him to force through a transfer this summer.
Haaland is believed to be on the list of transfer targets that City are considering as they look for a replacement for Sergio Aguero, although it is still thought that Tottenham’s Harry Kane is the number one priority.
However, if the Citizens do miss out on the England captain, and decide not to sign a forward in the coming weeks, the Premier League champions could well play the waiting game and get Haaland next year instead.
The 20-year-old reportedly has a release clause in his contract, which means he will be available for €75m (£64m) at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
