Manchester City centre-back Ruben Dias has been given an 87 rating in FIFA 22 and supporters feel that the Portuguese international has been underrated somewhat.
Fans on Twitter were particularly unhappy with the defender being rated at just 61 for pace, with many claiming that the attribute, along with his overall score, should have been higher:
His pace is a joke

In comparison, Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk was handed an 89 rating while Chelsea’s Thiago Silva was rated at 85, so EA Sports seem to believe that Dias is somewhere in between the two players when it comes to ability.
Whether that is a fair assessment, it is up for debate. Dias was by far and away the best centre-half in the Premier League during his first campaign with City and he has carried that form into this season.
Of course, supporters should not take Dias’s FIFA rating too seriously. After all, EA Sports are not known for being particularly accurate when it comes to rating players based on data and scouting.
