The Carabao Cup fourth-round draw will take place with a strange twist once again on Wednesday night after Manchester United take on West Ham earlier that night.
United will take on the Hammers in the third-round clash at Old Trafford, with the winner assured of a place in the next round with a win on the night.
But the location of the draw has raised eyebrows after it was revealed that former Man City defender Micah Richards and former Spurs manager Harry Redknapp will conduct their draw duties from the Potton Bowls Club in Bedfordshire.
In the past the Carabao Cup draws have seen John Barnes pull the balls out of the bag in a supermarket, while TV personality and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan once was forced to wear a Tottenham shirt while doing the draw after losing a bet on social media.
The reason for this one however is slightly different because the location was determined in a competition with fans entering for the chance to pick.
The EFL last month launched the ‘Win the Draw’ campaign, which gave fans the opportunity to see the draw up close and personal. All they needed to do was explain in 50 words or less why they deserved the chance, and the winner was Arsenal fan Gary Gunn who chose his local bowls club as the perfect backdrop for the draw to take place.
Man City will also expect to be in the hat for the fourth round, with their third-round fixture against Wycombe Wanderers taking place on Tuesday night.
