Manchester City are not interested in signing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to The Athletic journalist Sam Lee.
The reporter, who is generally reliable when it comes to the Citizens, claims the Manchester club are completely focused on signing Tottenham’s Harry Kane, with Vlahovic having not even been considered.
There had been a lot of reports coming out of Italy that Vlahovic was being lined up as a plan B and supporters on Twitter are not pleased by this latest update:

It is not a surprising development. No English journalist had linked City with the Serbian, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid thought to be the three teams who have actively taken an interest in the player.
Fans are, though, right to be concerned that the club have no fallback option if the deal for Kane collapses. Having an entire season with a false nine (or Gabriel Jesus spearheading the attack) doesn’t fill many with a lot of confidence.
